find a warm welcome at Johnstone High Parish Church
Sunday services at Johnstone High are full of life. We meet at 11:00 and worship for about an hour. With powerful Bible led sermons from our Minister and praise led by our Organist and Praise Band. We can’t wait to meet you, your family and friends this Sunday.
What to expect
Our elders will greet you at the entrance to the church and answer any question you may have. Feel free to sit anywhere in the church you like.
Our service is a mixture of singing, praying, bible reading and reflecting and lasts around an hour. There is a children’s talk at the start of the service before they are invited to join the Lighthouse in the church hall. Later on the minister delivers her main sermon which last about 15 minutes. Offering are uplifted during the course of the service.
Hymns are showing on the overhead screens during the service. For those who prefer to use a hymn book these are available from our elders when you arrive. You can also pick up a bible on entry should you need one for the service.
Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.
Romans 15:7 (NKJV)
We run The Sparklers (crèche) every Sunday morning for pre-school children. The Sparkers meet in the church for the start of the service at 11:00 before being taken over to the church hall. There are always two adults to care for your little one, but of course, you are welcome to stay with your child if you prefer.
We also run the Lighthouse for the older children. The children attend the first part of the service with the rest of the congregation before heading over to the church hall.
