A crèche is available every Sunday morning and all babies and pre-school children are welcome. Our crèche meets in the church for the start of the service at 11:00 before being taken over to the church hall. There are always two adults to care for your little one, but of course, you are welcome to stay with your child if you prefer.

PATCH Praise is a special service for babies, toddlers and children up to 5 years old and we encourage all the parents, grandparents and carers to stay with their children. At PATCH Praise, we sing, hear a story from the Bible and do a simple craft. Then to finish off, we all have a snack. Do come along and join us. We're sure that you and your little one will enjoy it. For further information please contact Christine Johnstone.

Our younger children (Primary 1 – Primary 7) meet in the church for the start of the service at 11:00. The children attend the first part of the service with the rest of the congregation before heading over to the church hall. We enjoy activities, crafts, stories, games and take time to look at the Bible in fun and exciting ways.

Every Sunday morning our lively group of young people meet in the church for the start of the service at 11:00 before heading off to the church hall. There is lots of fun and laughter with games, activities and music as well as a little bit more serious stuff looking at the Bible and worship. There are also some very quiet and peaceful times of prayer and reflection. All this is designed to help us explore the Bible and learn about the Christian Faith and being part of the church. There is something for everyone and it is great fun!

From time to time someone needs a little bit of extra help – maybe after an accident, an illness or some crisis in their lives. Or maybe just to get to church on Sunday.

On the first Saturday of every month (excluding January, July and August), the church is open from 19:00 – 21:00 for Soul Space.
Soul Space is not a traditional service with a sermon and hymn singing. Instead, we offer a time of quiet reflection, away from life’s busyness. Gentle music, soft lighting and displays that follow a theme each month.
There is plenty to read and think about, adult colouring in to engage with and half way through the evening, one of the teams leads a brief time of reflection.
Prayer is available for anyone who wishes it, upon request.
Christian hand massages are offered which prove to be very popular, and, of course tea and coffee which offers an opportunity to fellowship.
Come for 2 hour or a shorter time – it’s up to you.

Renfrewshire Foodbank has 1 paid member of staff; Elizabeth Alexander who is a member of St. Pauls Church in Johnstone. She looks after a dedicated team of volunteers who man the warehouse, carry out the many admin jobs needed to run everything well and also the volunteers who work in each of the outlets.
People who use the foodbank collect a food voucher from many places that hold them such as the Advice Works, Job Centres, Doctors, Health visitors, Schools etc. They bring this along to the outlet where it is exchanged for 3 days’ worth of tinned and dried food.
There are 4 outlets in Renfrewshire: Paisley, Renfrew, Erskine and Johnstone.
